Hubbard Glacier, Alaska (July 4)

Today was spent cruising from Seward to Sitka, with the major highlight the Hubbard Glacier, which starts in Canada and runs 76 miles into Alaska’s Disenchantment Bay. Given that fog rolled in, it was an appropriate name for the day as we only had a brief glimpse. Those who had seen it in previous years said that it had shrunk considerably. We were just happy that we had already seen spectacular scenery in Antarctica!

Happy 4th of July!
