Naze, Amami Oshima, Japan (June 14)

Naze is one of our “makeup” stops - since a couple have been cancelled - but there wasn’t much to see in this relatively boring town. (Although beaches in the north are supposed to be beautiful). Bob took the shuttlebus into town, glanced around for 10 minutes, then rode it back to the ship! Then a 20 minute walk to the local museum, which was, quaint…including a stuffed local black rabbit.  Bill meanwhile went on a 4 mile power walk around the bay, and found some interesting sculptures.

  1. I bet a power walk was a welcome relief. I'm really impressed by this trip and the amount of out and about you get to do while still having so much to do on the ship. Hope you are getting enough rest! Xoxo
